A Good Reason to Ride Your Bike: Twilight

One of the best ways you can help improve the air in Utah is to ride your bike to one of the best events of the summer: The Twilight Concert Series. Take advantage of the bike vallet, ran by the Salt Lake Bicycle Collective, so you know you’ll have your bike when the show’s over.

The Salt Lake Arts Council announced the 2015 roster today.

Even Mayor Ralph Becker can’t wait to find out who is on this year’s Twilight Concert Series. Though they didn’t spill the entire bucket of beans, it seems we have to wait a bit longer for the August 27th band to be announced. Run the Jewels is certainly a surprise. Their Coachella set was talked about all over the internet. The Kills are absolutely amazing, which also means we get to see Allison Mosshart perform and “Black Rooster” might be one of my favorite songs of all time. She is one of the most rock star rock stars we have on this planet. Father John Misty will make for a mellow Thursday evening. Of course, Death Cab as the opener is a huge was to start the Summer.

Watch their release vid and check out the full line-up below.

We’ll see you enjoying the bike lanes along 300 South and hopefully enjoying cleaner air, too.

July 16 Death Cab For Cutie with special guest Tune-Yards

July 23 Father John Misty & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
