Jenny Noonan-Eckton is co-host of The Cultural Hall Podcast, and a writer with Wake Up World Communications, a boutique digital media strategy agency focusing on social action campaigns. A blogger since 2005 (formerlyphread.com), she has been a presenter at conferences and events, including BlogHer, RootsTech, evo (the Evolution of Women in Social Media), Listen To Your Mother, and Give Salt Lake. She is a regular contributor to Global Moms Challenge, a non-profit dedicated to connecting moms in the U.S. to people and programs improving health and wellness for mothers, babies children around the world. Her work with the United Nations Foundation has taken her to Uganda and to Washington, D.C., to lobby on Capitol Hill.
She is a single mom of six kids—5 Alive, 1 in Heaven—ranging in age from 16 to 7. Born and raised in Jamestown, New York, she now calls Provo home. Jenny also runs a small cooking business, is an actor, and a certified Zumba instructor.
