On Thursday, November 5th, the LDS church released changes to its handbook which state that Mormons in a same-sex marriage will now be considered apostates, subject to excommunication from the Church. Further, the children of these couples will not be able to be blessed or baptized. In effect, the sins of these gay Mormon parents will be passed to their innocent children.
